While the Phoenix Suns have been struggling of late, they're still one of the more exciting young teams in the NBA with their fast-paced offense brought in by new head coach Monty Williams. The ball has been fizzing around and sharing has certainly become contagious in Phoenix.

The Suns are demonstrating this by becoming the first team in 25 years to notch 29 or more assists in 11 straight games. The 1988-89 Charlotte Hornets are the last team to pull off this feat, as they had 29-plus assists in 13 straight contests:

Are we back in the Steve Nash-Mike D'Antoni era?

Phoenix leads the league in assists with 28.6 per game while boasting the 10th-best offensive rating in the league.

Unfortunately, as successful as the Suns have been in moving the ball these past 11 games, the Suns only won three of those games. This stat would definitely look better if it translated into more wins.

Some of their losses were close calls and could have definitely gone their way. The Suns have been dealing with injuries to some of their key players such as Devin Booker, Aron Baynes, and Ricky Rubio. Likewise, former No. 1 overall pick Deandre Ayton, who just made his return to the court Tuesday night against the LA Clippers, has been out due to a 25-game suspension the league handed down on him at the beginning of the season.

After starting the season with a 7-4 record, the Suns have lost four straight and 11 of their last 15. Despite the poor results lately, Phoenix should just continue doing what it is doing on offense and the wins should come eventually.

Of course, improvement on the defensive end, where they rank in the bottom half of the league, would also help their cause.
