Phoenix Suns general manager James Jones says the franchise is going to target five free agents in the summer and hoping to get three.

James Jones also said the Suns are looking for players between the ages of 25 and 30, per John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7.

Phoenix is looking to build around star shooting guard Devin Booker, big man and 2018 No. 1 overall pick Deandre Ayton, and swingman Kelly Oubre, whom the Suns acquired from the Washington Wizards in the Trevor Ariza trade.

The first position the Suns need to address is at point guard. The organization has been looking for a starting-caliber point guard since last summer. Boston Celtics guard Terry Rozier and Brooklyn Nets All-Star D'Angelo Russell will become restricted free agents this summer and both players have been linked to the Suns before.

Booker and Russell are very good friends off the court. The Suns could use Booker to recruit DLo to Phoenix. As a restricted free agent, the Nets have the right to match any offer sheet should Russell sign one with another team.

It's been another disastrous season for Phoenix this season. The team is just 11-47, 15th place in the Western Conference standings.

James Jones and the rest of the brain trust have to get more talent around Booker, who is one of the best young scorers in the NBA.
