Robert Sarver's wife, Penny Sarver, has sent several messages to three former Phoenix Suns employees amid the NBA investigation on the allegations against her husband.

To recall, Robert Sarver has been the subject of a bombshell ESPN story alleging him of racists and misogynistic behavior. Among the biggest revelations in the report was his reportedly consistent use of the n-word during a rant about Draymond Green.

The NBA has already started looking into the matter, though it's clear Penny Sarver wouldn't just be sitting while waiting for the league to finish their investigation. According to the latest ESPN report from Baxter Holmes, the wife of the Suns owner wife sent messages to the employees on IG and via text to address the issue.

Here are some of the messages:

“This is Penny Sarver,” one message began. “I know a lot of bridges were burned between you and Robert and you are very bitter. I want to remind you that real lives are at stake here.”

A second former employee received a message that began, “I am so terribly saddened that you would say such untrue things about my husband. Your interpretation of what happened is so far from the truth. You are crushing my families lives. Thanks for that.”

A third former employee said their message began, “You are such a liar. In your trying to destroy my husband with [your] lies — you have destroyed my family and children.”

The said former employees admitted they felt threatened by the messages, noting that it's unsettling. However, one of the people who received the message shared they won't be intimidated and only fueled their desire to share their experiences to investigators.

Penny Sarver confirmed to ESPN that she indeed sent the messages, but she clarified that it is no way intended to intimidate or threaten the former employees contrary to what they said or felt.

“Over the weekend, I decided on my own to reach out to a few people to try to set the record straight and to share how disappointed and hurt I am by the lies that are circulating about my husband and the Suns organization,” Penny Sarver explained to ESPN. “I shared the betrayal that I felt and I touched on some of the pain that we are going through as a family.

“Any suggestion that I tried to ‘intimidate' anyone is as silly as it is wrong and outrageous.”
