Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver has been in hot water over the last few weeks after reports that he could be accused of racism and misogyny. A bombshell piece from ESPN on Wednesday revealed just that. But amidst this messy situation, he also made some rather horrific comments towards Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green.

While Earl Watson was coaching the Suns in 2016, they were playing the Dubs at home and after the game, Sarver made his way down to the Phoenix locker room. What happened next was extremely disturbing:

After the loss, Suns majority owner Robert Sarver entered the coaches locker room, Watson told ESPN.

“You know, why does Draymond Green get to run up the court and say [N-word],” Sarver, who is white, allegedly said, repeating the N-word several times in a row.

“You can't say that,” Watson, who is Black and Hispanic, told Sarver.

“Why?” Sarver replied. “Draymond Green says [N-word].”

“You can't f—ing say that,” Watson said again.

Wow. That was unfortunately just one of many inappropriate comments Sarver has made over the years with the Suns organization. He's reportedly used racially insensitive language in the office and even passed around pictures of his wife in a bikini while bragging about the oral sex he has with her. Employees of the team have felt uncomfortable around Sarver for years.

This is likely just the start of what could be some serious lawsuits coming his way.
