When Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker rewarded the fan who figured into a fistfight with two Denver Nuggets supporters, some people criticized him for doing so. However, it sure looks like the home fans appreciate what he did.

In fact, the so-called “Suns in 4” guy was an absolute celebrity in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals at Talking Stick Resort Arena, with people lining up to take a photo with him. Cameras kept focusing on him as well, and he used the opportunity to hype up the fans even more.

The Suns fan, identified as Nick McKellar, is surely enjoying his 15 minutes of fame. And who can blame him? Several Phoenix supporters are probably rooting for him as well after his viral moment when he fought back the Nuggets fans who poured beer on him following some trash-talking.

For those not in the know, Devin Booker really searched for McKellar and even asked his followers to help him look for the man on social media. It didn't take long before he found him, and he then rewarded the “Suns in 4” guy with a signed jersey and tickets to the West Finals against the Los Angeles Clippers.

As mentioned, some did not like the gesture, with former NBA champion Richard Jefferson even telling Booker that it could set a “bad precedent.”

Then again, Booker doesn't see anything wrong with his gesture, saying that the fan did it in self defense. Obviously, other fans of the team doesn't seem to care as well since some even wore a “Suns in 4” shirt during Sunday's showdown.
