Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker has yet to play since suffering a groin injury in a game against the Toronto Raptors earlier this month, which is why you’d spot him sporting a much different attire on the sidelines during Suns games of late.
The Suns’ Twitter account tried to make fun of Booker’s garb ensemble one time, saying that Booker’s getup was comparable to that of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s in the now infamous 1990s photo.
Devin Booker with that turtleneck and chain… reminds us of someone equally electrifying…. what do you think @TheRock? pic.twitter.com/H6FO2lNAC6

Johnson got a whiff of the tweet, and proceeded to give props to the Suns’ young scoring machine, leading to a nice exchange between the two celebrities.
Only difference is I’m wearing cheap silver jewelry and a fake Tag watch. My rookie days were leaaaan;). Devin’s doing much better. 🤙🏾 https://t.co/hFMAsE2aOj

Hahah make ya a deal when you hold up that O’Brien trophy one fine day, I’ll make sure you have a personalized fanny pack ready to throw on. Keep chasin’ that greatness brotha 👊🏾🏆

It’s the fanny pack that held the entire fashion together for The Rock the same way that The Dude’s rug “tied his room together”, so that piece of accessory rightfully just became a highly coveted one for Booker.
The only thing Booker needs to do is lead the Suns to win the title. By our own estimation, Booker, who was drafted by Phoenix 13th overall in the 2015 NBA Draft, and the Suns will probably get that in 2048 or when at least when they finally know how to build a championship team without constantly blowing up their roster.
