Syracuse Orange coach Jim Boeheim has seen it all as his time as a college basketball coach. Heading into the 2019-20 season with a lot of freshmen on his roster won't actually shake the legend.

After the team's summer trip to Italy, the veteran head coach explained the entire process of getting so many youngsters on board.

“Everybody on the trip contributed and looked comfortable in what we were trying to do. We’re a little further ahead,” Jim Boeheim said at the team’s annual media day. “From that point of view, it was very helpful. But basically you still go back and do the same things that you would do every year. We’re a little further ahead. There’s personnel coming back, but there’s so many new guys you do a lot of teaching stuff that is new to them.”

The Syracuse Orange have lost Tyus Battle, Oshae Brissett and Frank Howard to the pros and/or graduation. The trio made up 55 percent of the team's offense last season.

Obviously, it goes without saying that'll be important for Jim Boeheim to replace some of that production.
