A new trailer for Tales of Arise arrived last Friday. This time, another new character arrived to join the party.

The new character's name is Kisara, and she joins Alphen, Shionne, Law, and Rinwell in the growing list of new Tales characters. This lady knight is described as “a close-quarter fighter who uses a hammer and shield so she can guard instead of evading.” This makes her a strong tank that won't be afraid to take some hits while dishing out some of her own.

Another recent trailer released last week showed off new characters, locations, and features for the game. There will be more coming up for Tales of Arise, in what could be the most ambitious game in the Tales franchise thus far. It is the seventeenth title in the Tales series, and is being developed using Unreal Engine 4.

Tales of Arise was first announced way back in E3 2019 and was originally slated for a 2020 release. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has slowed down the development cycle of the game. The delay was also used to make the game compatible with next-gen hardware. Now, it's slated for a September 10, 2021 release date. It's due to come out simultaneously on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox One.
