The Tennessee Volunteers have fired head football coach Butch Jones after only four and a half seasons. Bob Shoop will take over as the interim head coach.
Update: This was a hoax by the below Twitter user, who previously had his profile to look as though he was a prominent media member.

Butch Jones was under fire as of late, especially after the fans began to turn on the Vols during home games.
Recently, Jones did had a bit of a meltdown at a press conference when he was asked about an injury to defensive tackle Shy Tuttle. Tuttle suffered a broken orbital bone. Asked about a rumor that Tuttle was injured by a teammate, Jones launched into a rant that included chastising the media for “fake news.”
Yeah, man. Maybe this report that you are fired is fake news.
