The Tennessee Titans have strung together two impressive victories and hope to earn a third one over the New York Jets. Things are just getting started for the Titans, as they should be able to walk away with a win on Sunday. It's time to continue our NFL predictions series with a Titans Week 4 prediction.
We're all aware of the slow start from Tennessee, but the defense has steadily improved in each game. The secondary has been much better, while the pass rush came alive against the Indianapolis Colts. The Titans' offense has gotten back on track, but the defense has proven to be a problem for their opponents in the last six quarters they've played.
AJ Brown and Julio Jones are dealing with minor injuries right now. Considering the Jets are a bottom feeder of a franchise, the Titans star receivers will possibly sit out this game, allowing an unknown player to make his mark.
The Jets have a weak secondary, especially with Marcus Maye out of the lineup. Ryan Tannehill is in line to have another great performance. Lastly, it starts with the King and ends with King, which means Derrick Henry could be in for a massive game. With that said, here are four bold Titans Week 4 predictions for their matchup against the Jets.

Titans Week 4 Predictions
4. Titans defense shuts out the Jets
New York is in trouble and it might be a while before they win a game this year. The offensive line is atrocious, the receivers are struggling to catch the ball, and the Jets can't get the run game going. Tennessee's defense has stepped up in a big way recently and could be in for their best performance yet.
The Titans will likely pressure Zach Wilson and force him to make bad throws. That's been the game plan for every opponent going up against the Jets and Tennessee will follow suit. The offense will run up the score, forcing New York to ditch the run game. Once that happens, the Titans will be in full control of this contest.
3. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine records 85+ yards and a touchdown
With AJ Brown and Julio Jones both dealing with minor injuries right now, the Titans may opt to sit them in Week 4. This is a winnable game for Tennessee, with or without their stars. The Titans are in it for the long haul as the franchise believes they're a Super Bowl contender. It'd be smarter to let Brown and Jones get healthy and prepare for a game they'll be needed for.
That leaves an opportunity for Nick Westbrook-Ikhine to expand his role on the roster. He stepped up in the last game against the Colts when Brown and Jones were out down the stretch. Westbrook-Ikhine reeled in four receptions for 53 yards and one touchdown. He has a chance to be the Titans top wideout against the Jets. If he plays well, it could turn into a more prominent role later in the season.
2. Ryan Tannehill goes off for 3 touchdowns
Ryan Tannehill has looked great so far. If he can tone down the turnovers, the Titans will be in great shape. Regardless, this is a prime matchup for Tannehill to maintain his consistent play. Look for him to have another big game as he aims to pick apart the Jets horrendous defense.
1. Derrick Henry breaks the NFL rushing record in a single game
If anyone is going to break Adrian Peterson's record it's Derrick Henry. The King is the most dominant force in the NFL right now and the New York Jets have no answers for him. With injuries potentially sidelining AJ Brown and Julio Jones, Henry will serve as options A, B, and C for the Titans on Sunday. Good luck to the Jets.
