It's been a long grueling process for the Houston Texans as they've been waiting for Deshaun Watson's multiple sexual assault allegations to clear up. The star quarterback didn't receive any criminal charges in his case, but will still likely serve a suspension due to the active civil charges still in place. Regardless, Watson reacts to the news.
According to Aaron Wilson, Deshaun Watson leaves an emotional message after having his name cleared of any criminal charges. The result of this issue is not shocking, as it's a situation that didn't have strong evidence to support the claims. Even so, the current Texans quarterback is ready for the next step in this process.
Deshaun Watson after no charges: 'Definitely a very emotional moment for me. I know we're far from being done handling what we need to handle on the legal side, but today is definitely a big day. I thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for letting the truth be heard.'

Watson also thanked everyone involved in helping him through the case, per Aaron Wilson. The Texans' quarterback likely had a great team of lawyers around him.
Deshaun Watson: 'I thank everyone that was a part of this, of seeing and hearing both sides. That's what my team wanted was to have a fair slate of us telling our side of the story and letting the conclusion come down to what happened today and that's what the grand jury decided'

Furthermore, Deshaun Watson's lawyer Rusty Hardin left a statement of his own as well. Although the Texans await the outcome of the civil lawsuits, Hardin is pleased with the outcome of the criminal investigations.

For now, Deshaun Watson remains with the Texans. Teams across the league searching for an upgrade at quarterback are likely to reach out to work out a trade. We'll see how available Watson will be next season, as the NFL could still place a suspension on the troubled quarterback. We'll see how it plays out, but Watson could be playing games once again next season.
Keep an eye on Deshaun Watson and the Texans, as the trade rumors will heat up in the coming days.
