The Houston Texans are one of the hottest in the NFL. Deshaun Watson and company may be coming off a loss in Week 14, but before that loss against the division rival Indianapolis Colts, Houston had won nine straight games and will look to bounce back in Week 15 against the New York Jets on the road.

The one major difference for the Texans in Week 15 will be the weather they'll be dealing with at MetLife Stadium which is something their star quarterback isn't used to. The forecast for Saturday is 39 degrees with an 80 percent chance of rain which is about as miserable as it gets for a quarterback. However, Watson claims he's ready and the harsh weather won't impact his game, via Sarah Barshop of ESPN.

“I mean, nothing like the north because I'm from Georgia,” Watson said when asked if he has played in winter conditions. “Then, in high school, it was kind of — it snowed, but it was not the true snow like if you played in New York. So, honestly, no. But it's not going to affect my game.”

In order to put Watson's experience in cold weather into perspective, he has never played in a game like what he'll see on Saturday. According to Barshop, no game he has played in the NFL or in college with Clemson has come close.

The coldest game Watson has played in with the Texans was this season when Houston played the Washington Redskins in Week 11. It was 48 degrees, according to ESPN Stats & Information. At Clemson, he played in only three games in temperatures below 50 degrees. The coldest was a home game against North Carolina when it was 42 degrees.

The weather and Watson's inexperience in these conditions definitely makes this matchup an interesting once for the Texans. Houston may also have a similar experience against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 16 but should get some relief against the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars at NRG Stadium.
