Deshaun Watson has been one of the hottest names in football after the allegations thrown at him with his sexual assault cases. There's no decision yet on the legal actions taken against him, but he has not played at all this season for the Houston Texans.

For what it's worth, there have been rumors around the league for most of the offseason that Watson is going to end up in a Miami Dolphins uniform. However, such talks shocked former NFL exec Andrew Brandt.

“I cannot believe an NFL owner, in this current climate especially, would bring in Deshaun Watson and face his fan base with the lawsuits circling that player. No matter how “good” a trade deal they could get,” said Andrew Brandt of Sports Illustrated.

DeShaun Watson could be in a deal with the Dolphins that would possibly send Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and draft picks to the Texans.

The Dolphins could use some quarterback help and bringing in one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL would make them a better team. The question for the Dolphins is if they want to deal with all the allegations and issues around the troubled Texans star. Do they really want to take the risk to trade their current franchise quarterback and draft picks for a player like Watson?

It remains to be seen what will happen to Watson and the Texans, but the potential trade to the Dolphins is certainly worth keeping an eye on.
