The Deshaun Watson saga is a hot mess that seems to be ongoing with no end in sight. However, most of the civil cases have been settled, which means there is light at the end of the tunnel. Even so, Tony Buzbee has shifted his attention towards the Houston Texans, as the franchise is now under fire themselves.

According to Jake Trotter, Buzbee has officially filed the first lawsuit against the Texans franchise. He claims Houston knew and there is evidence that Houston knew of Watson's actions and enabled him throughout. This allegation is coming off the recent findings of the organization booking hotel rooms for Deshaun Watson to receive his “massages.”

If true, the Texans will be in a whirlwind of trouble. The franchise believed they moved on from Deshaun Watson after trading him to the Cleveland Browns. However, their past actions may bite them in the butt in the end. Additionally, Tony Buzbee makes it clear this is the first case filed against Houston, which indicates more might be coming soon. After the case was officially filed, the organization made an official statement regarding the lawsuit, per Brooks Kubena.

Obviously, the Texans aren't going to make any controversial statements right now. A generic response is the best you're going to get from this team. We'll see how this all plays out, as Houston has not yet moved on from Deshaun Watson after all. Look for the NFL to distribute a punishment for Watson in the coming weeks while his former team takes on a lawsuit.
