The Houston Texans made quite a splash with the acquisition of left tackle Laremy Tunsil during the 2019 NFL season. Wide receiver Kenny Stills has made it clear how he feels about Tunsil's looming contract extension.

Stills took to Twitter to urge the Texans to pay Tunsil his due:

Stills' comments should come as no surprise, considering he knows full well what Tunsil brings to the table. The pair have been teammates since their days with the Miami Dolphins before arriving in Houston together as part of the trade. The veteran has seen him overcome the pressure that comes with being a former first-round pick by developing into a bonafide pass-protector on the blindside.

Reports indicate that Tunsil's price tag could demand up to $20 million per year. Although it may seem a bit steep, the Texans have already made quite the investment after parting ways with two first-round picks and a second-round pick in order to bring him and Stills to town. The onus will now fall on the front office to finish the deal by securing him for the long haul or risk losing him for nothing.

Houston is going to have some major expenses in the near future with quarterback Deshaun Watson also preparing to receive his lucrative payday. Watson has already made it clear that he will not be providing the team with a hometown discount either. Since keeping their franchise quarterback is a no-brainer, it would make sense to protect their investment by securing the best protection possible.
