Houston Texans rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson has been better than expected. Despite being highly hyped, even with everyone knowing that he has an insane skill set, people slept on the kid.

Well, people sleep no more. Instead, Watson is batting them over the head with his incredible play to start his first season in the National Football League.

How insane has Deshaun Watson bee? So insane, so incredibly productive, that he is literally breaking records.

On Sunday, Watson became the first player in NFL history with at least 400 yards passing, 4 passing touchdowns and at least 55 yards rushing in the same game, according to the Texans’ public relations department. He finished the day 19 of 30 for 402 yards and 4 touchdowns through the air, and added a game-high 67 yards on the ground.

Houston lost, but whatever. That was about some iffy offensive playcalling by the head coach (running it three times while trying to drain the clock).

But wait, there's more record breaking!

Through seven career games, Watson has 19 touchdown passes. According to ESPN, that is the most by any player in his first seven games in NFL history. ESPN also reported that his four 3-touchdown games this season are already the most by a rookie since the merger in 1970.

Listen, who knows what Watson will be in 10 years from now or even next week, but let's appreciate his brilliance. It is honestly astounding how great (not good, but great) he has been since being named the starter.

Deshaun Watson is, apparently, good at football.
