Rodney Terry's Texas basketball team was upset by UCF by the score of 77-71 last night, and the Longhorns coach was not too happy with UCF's celebrations after pulling off the upset.

“It looks like you were just hoping to win,” Rodney Terry said, via Kyle Boone of CBS Sports. “We never go into games hoping to win, we go into games expecting to win. So we don't act like that. We expect to win. We don't jump up and down and act like we won a national championship. … That's what I was angry about.”

According to Terry, multiple UCF basketball players were giving horns down signs in the handshake line. He was seen in the handshake line telling players to not do that.

Terry went more into why he was upset after Texas basketball's loss.

“I'm a big believer in, uh, you win the right way, you lose the right way,” Terry said, via Kyle Boone. “I always tell my guys that whether you win or lose, you win the right way, you lose the right way, you carry yourself the right way. You don't go through the handshake line and have about six or seven guys putting the horns down. We don't do that. When you do those kings of things, it looks very classless.”

The Longhorns dropped to 12-5 overall, and 1-3 in Big 12 play. It has been a struggle so far in conference play, and it will not get any easier, with six games against ranked opponents coming up for Terry's squad. Texas basketball will have to move on from the UCF loss to get the conference season back on track.
