LeBron James Jr. (often referred to as Bronny), the son of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, was born on Oct. 6, 2004. The 15-year-old has followed in his fathers' footsteps, currently playing alongside Dwyane Wade's son Zaire as a combo guard for Sierra Canyon School located in Los Angeles.

James Jr. has practically seen LeBron's entire pro career since his creation. Back in October of 2004, King James was heading into just his second NBA season. Bronny has been able to witness all of the ups and downs that come with being a professional, and he has seen first-hand what it takes to dominate, and what kind of dedication to the craft it takes in order to reach greatness.

If one wishes to become a great basketball player, who is a better individual to be around and learn from than LeBron James? Undoubtedly, James' son has acquired an invaluable amount of knowledge about the game along with tips and tricks that will put him miles ahead of the competition who are not fortunate enough to have a hoops legend as their dad.

Basketball likely seemed like the most attractive option among sports to play simply because of the historic success that Bronny's father has seen as a professional. LeBron's guidance has played an instrumental role in his son's development both as a person and a baller, and one should not expect this to change anytime soon.

Just like James Jr. has matured physically over the course of his namesake's NBA career, James has also matured, but mentally. LeBron's past experiences as a player, both good and bad, will benefit his son by allowing him to become more prepared for the league by having an idea of what to expect. Meaning, James obviously knows how to properly interact with coaches and ownership, and establish tight bonds with his teammates.

A lot more comes to being an NBA player besides just playing an 82 game regular season, and the playoffs, if fortunate enough. There is a social aspect to the business that can be vitally important considering players' attitudes can influence where they play during their time in the league. Fortunately for James Jr., LeBron has been a terrific role model since entering the league.

Bronny was born at the opportune time basketball-wise — he is in luck to be amidst the beginning stages of what appears to be an exciting basketball career, all while his elder is in the twilight of his, and has already solidified his place as one of the best to ever lace them up. Because of this, he is well-positioned to flourish as a high school hooper and may be destined for excellence.
