The Los Angeles Lakers did not settle for bringing back their championship roster from last season. This offseason they've made some big moves to acquire Sixth Man of the Year Award finalists Dennis Schroder and Montrezl Harrell.

On the daily Locked On Lakers Podcast, host Anthony Irwin and Harrison Faigen discussed the Lakers offseason moves and why the Lakers currently have the best Top 10 in the NBA.

Anthony Irwin: Here's the rotation as it stands right now: LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Dennis Schroder, Montrezl Harrell, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Alex Caruso, Kyle Kuzma, Wes Matthews, Marc Gasol, and now Markieff Morris. That is quite the nine or 10-man roster. That's the best 9 or 10-man roster in the NBA right now.

Harrison Faigen: Yeah, I'm not even going to try and make that case. I feel like it would be almost impossible to argue against that, at this point, obviously, other teams may have some moves up their sleeves that they can try and make some things happen. However, at this point in free agency with who's left like, I don't know who else can make a case. It's interesting, the Lakers are finally going to have a little bit more of an argument in the all-important who has the best four players in a playoff series argument that we were we had to deal with the entire run to the title. I think they've gotten a little worse defensively most likely, but I don't think that it's as significant as the amount of improvement they've probably made offensively with these additions that they've been able to make.
