The Oklahoma City Thunder's road back to .500 hasn't just been a matter of the schedule, but of a closed-door team meeting, stemming from a four-game skid that found OKC at 4-7 to start the season.

Paul George was able to dig his new team out of a hole thanks to two outstanding back-to-back performances, scoring 37 against the L.A. Clippers on Friday, and then 42 against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday. The Thunder climbed back to 7-7 after a Wednesday night 92-79 win over the Chicago Bulls.

The secret behind this season-long three game win streak? Addressing the elephant in the room, as the big three of George, Carmelo Anthony, and Russell Westbrook labored to play with each other and share touches equally.

“After our loss in Denver, we just had a sit-down with Russ,” George said, according to ESPN's Royce Young. “I asked Russ what he needs from me, what he wants me to do better. And then I came out the [next] two nights and implemented what he asked of me, and that was just to be myself, be aggressive, and stay in attack mode.”

George responded with a combined 79 points in the next two nights, showing the real potential of this powerful trio moving forward.
