It has been a tough start to the season for the Oklahoma City Thunder dropping seven out of their first 11 games.

Things could become a bit more difficult on Friday night against the L.A. Clippers as veteran big man Steven Adams could miss the matchup due to a calf injury, according to Erik Horne of The Oklahoman.

The 24-year-old has been off to a strong start currently averaging career highs with 12.3 points on 65.2 percent shooting from the field and 8.4 rebounds along with 1.3 blocks per contest in the first 11 games of the season. This includes recording three double-doubles while notching double figures seven times, also ranking second in the league in field goal percentage.

Adams has proven to be quite a durable player in his first four years of his career playing at least 67 games while topping at least 80 games played three different times. He has also proven to be a source of reliability on both ends of the court while progressively furthering his development.

It will be interesting to see what type of lineup the Thunder choose to field as they have a few options to field either a small-ball or typical starting up in the frontcourt with either rookie big man Dakari Johnson or veteran forward Patrick Patterson at the center position.
