Oklahoma City Thunder big man Steven Adams completely forgot Boban Marjanovic plays for the Dallas Mavericks now.

The Thunder host the Mavs on Tuesday. Speaking to reporters pregame, Adams talked about how he ran into Marjanovic at shootaround and asked the Dallas center what he was doing in OKC.

This is why fans love Steven Adams. He's got one of the best personalities in the NBA. The Thunder big man knows he'll have his hands full with Boban Marjanovic and his large frame on Tuesday, and it's something he wasn't prepared for since he wasn't aware Marjanovic is on the Mavs now.

Adams and Marjanovic are two of the strongest players in the NBA. It's only preseason, but the two centers will surely battle it out to the fullest when they play against each other.

Last season for the Thunder, Adams averaged 13.9 points and 9.5 rebounds in 80 games. He shot 59.5 percent from the field and recorded 29 double-doubles.

Marjanovic split time with the Los Angeles Clippers and Philadelphia 76ers in 2018-19. He put up 7.3 points and 4.6 rebounds in 58 games. Marjanovic, who signed two-year, $7 million free agent deal with the Mavs this summer, figures to be a fan favorite in Dallas — just like he was in Los Angeles and Philadelphia.
