Believe it or not, Tim Duncan has made the playoffs every single season of his 19 year career. That alone puts him in some amazing company, if not a league of his own. With such a long history in the playoffs, it's inevitable that he end his career at or near the top of some very prestigious NBA postseason records.

Last night in Memphis, Duncan reached another milestone by tying former teammate Robert Horry for second most all-time in postseason games with 244 total. He is now only 15 behind the all-time leader in playoff games, Derek Fisher (259), with more playoff games ahead this season. He is also the only player with over 200 playoff appearances to start in every game.

With just three games completed in the first round of the 2016 playoffs and the Spurs expected to go far into the playoffs, Duncan could definitely pass Fisher for most all-time this season if their series go into extra games or they make the championship. Otherwise, he may have to return next season if he cares at all about the record, which he probably doesn't. However, given his sustained level of play and love of the game, it's seems pretty likely Duncan could be back for another run next season.
