The Minnesota Timberwolves are reportedly the number one destination for lefty sharpshooter C.J. Miles, according to KFAN radio.

After playing next to prized swingman Paul George for the last three seasons with the Indiana Pacers, Miles is ready to help a contending team and leave his recently talent-starved home for one that is chasing the playoffs, despite a studded Western Conference.

The Wolves are one of many teams looking for outside weapons, having missed on shooting guard Nick Young on Wednesday, after he took a one-year, $5.2 million mid-level exception contract offer from the Golden State Warriors.

Miles had one of his best recent seasons, putting up 10.7 points and three rebounds per game, while shooting 43 percent from the field, 40 percent from deep, and 90 percent from the line.

The lefty marksman will go a long way to help a Minnesota roster in dire need of three-point shooting and depth at the shooting guard spot. As one of the last remaining lethal three-point shooters on the market, expect the franchise to make a hard push for his services.
