Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Anthony Edwards continues to add to his highlight reel. His latest offering is a monster jam over Portland Trail Blazers forward Robert Covington.

Edwards has been showcasing his athleticism in his first year as a pro. The first overall pick of the 2020 NBA Draft is proving why he's considered the top prospect of his batch.

In the play below, he made Covington look like a pedestrian defender. Edwards didn't care if Covington is a former All-NBA Defensive First Team selection.

Edwards has posterized several players this year. Peep his highlight reel so far. His first step and game sense are already impressive on their own. But Edwards takes things up a notch by showing off his explosiveness and tenacity.

Edwards didn't just add to his highlight reel. He also guided the Wolves to a 114-112 victory over the Trail Blazers. He finished with a career-high 34 points, to go along with four rebounds, and two assists.

It is a bit unfortunate that Anthony Edwards isn't getting the love that he deserves. Among rookies, it's LaMelo Ball who's been attracting the attention of media and the fans. But slowly and surely, Edwards is racking up major popularity points. Fans better watch out for the next Edwards poster.
