Anthony Edwards has been a treat to watch on and off the court. The Minnesota Timberwolves sophomore has been incredible this season, but his off-court interviews have quickly become must-watch TV. Edwards' penchant for cracking jokes and being unabashedly himself has endeared him to many fans.

After the Timberwolves' huge upset win over Ja Morant and the Grizzlies, Anthony Edwards was asked about his teammate D'Angelo Russell coming up clutch. In true Ant fashion, he responded by saying that he was reminded of himself in D-Lo.

Russell has struggled at times this season as the lead guard, but against the Grizzlies, he turned it up. The Timberwolves guard poured in 37 huge points, with the majority coming in the fourth period. In addition to that, he made several big shots down the stretch, including a tie-breaking three with less that 1:30 left to put them up by three.

As for Edwards, this Thursday night contest failed to break a terrible slump for him. The Timberwolves' first overall pick in 2020 has been in a rut since before the All-Star break, struggling to make shots from the field. Against the Grizzlies, Edwards could only muster up 5 points on a horrid 1-11 shooting. It has been a rough few games for the budding star.

However, Timberwolves fans shouldn't worry too much about Edwards. He's still young, with much to learn in the league. Plus, his ever-growing confidence ensures that any bad performance won't damage his mentality. He can go 0-10 one game and still put up 10 shots again next game. That's better than having a star scared to shoot and/or improve.
