NBA fans are up in arms over Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Anthony Edwards' technical foul against the Golden State Warriors on Sunday.

Edwards reacted after he served up a facial on the Golden State Warriors' Dario Saric. The officials teed up the former after his emotional outburst.

NBA fans couldn't believe what they just saw. Many of them felt Anthony Edwards didn't deserve a technical foul for reacting to such a spectacular play.

“Anthony Edwards is a nasty man. And the ref ain't s–t for that tech,' @21sthoekage tweeted.

“NBA refs are weak now. They'll give out a tech if a player shows any emotion, might as well make it be robots playing at this point…That shouldn't have been a tech on Anthony Edwards just like that shouldn't have been a tech on Giannis,” @nate_plotkin wrote.

“Anthony Edwards posterizes Saric and let's him know after and gets a tech. Man this league is foul,” per @NickTargayen09.

“Such b—–t @NBAOfficial. Draymond screams at the officials all game long. Anthony Edwards gets excited after a monster dunk & he gets a tech #RaisedByWolves,” @Timbotwolf tweeted.

“Anthony Edwards destroys Dario Saric on a dunk, then gets hit with a No Boisterous Allowed tech. And you thought it stood for National Basketball Association,” per @sam_amick.

Edwards' dunk gave the Timberwolves an 80-68 lead in the third quarter. Minnesota prevailed, 116-110. He finished with 33 points.

Edwards has earned rave reviews for his excellent play this season. Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum paid Edwards a tremendous compliment after the latter scored 38 points on November 7.

An anonymous NBA scout kicked it up a notch. He considers Edwards Michael Jordan's heir apparent and the second-best two-play player after Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The “Ant-Man”has been averaging 27.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 5.3 assists this season.
