Minnesota Timberwolves wing Cameron Reynolds will be back for more with the organization, as he is set to sign a second 10-day contract, per Darren Wolfson of KSTP-Minnesota:

Reynolds has appeared in two games off the bench, logging a combined seven minutes. He scored two points both Sunday against the Washington Wizards and Wednesday against the Detroit Pistons, looking for his shot in his short time on the court.

The majority of Reynolds' season has been spent with the Stockton Kings of the G League, where he has appeared in 33 games (nine starts) and averaged 16.0 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. Across almost 28 minutes per contest, he has shot 46.2 percent overall, including 41.9 percent from 3-point range.

Reynolds began to find his stroke from deep during his final two seasons on campus at Tulane, when he averaged better than two makes per game from deep in both his junior and senior seasons. One of the top scorers in the American Athletic Conference those two years, the 23-year-old Reynolds is looking to crack into Minnesota's rotation with Luol Deng and Robert Covington both currently hurting.

With Minnesota's 2018-19 playoff chances dangling on, the team may choose to turn it over to a group of younger players at some point. Reynolds would still have to battle Andrew Wiggins and fellow rookie Josh Okogie for minutes, but if Reynolds can get enough run over his next 10-day contract to earn a deal for the remainder of the season, it would constitute his first legitimate opportunity in the league.
