Minnesota Timberwolves want-away star Jimmy Butler believes that the media has been unfair in their portrayal of his image throughout this whole controversy between himself and the Wolves. According to the 29-year-old, there is much more to this story than what the media is allegedly leading the public to believe.

While Butler is adamant that there is much more to this Timberwolves related narrative than what meets the eye, the problem is that he does not appear to be willing to share  his side of the story. Perhaps it would be easier to feel sorry for the 6-foot-8 swingman if we all had a better understanding of where he is coming from.

Nonetheless, the fact of the matter is that Butler decided to air his dirty laundry publicly. This is not the first time a player has been unhappy with his current situation with his team, and there are perhaps much better ways to settle internal differences than to go out and berate your team and your teammates in public.

Hopefully, this saga comes to an end sooner rather than later. Especially for the sake of the Timberwolves.

Also, we are optimistic that once the dust settles, we finally hear the side of Butler — without all the drama and sans the emotional baggage. Maybe then we would get a better understanding of what he's trying to say here. Until then though, we're afraid that Butler will remain to be the bad guy in this story.
