Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns is set to start his 300th consecutive game to start his NBA career.

The T'Wolves are taking on the Orlando Magic on Thursday night, and it will be yet another start for the former Kentucky star, who has simply been dominant since joining the league.

Towns is averaging 22.8 points, 12.2 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per game this season, and he continues to be a tough matchup for opponents.

And he will accomplish an incredible feat when he steps onto the court against the Magic, as he'll be the only player since the 1970-71 season to hit 300 straight starts for their career.

There's no doubt that Towns has had a huge impact on the franchise, and while Minnesota currently sits at 25-28 on the season, having him on the court will give this team a chance to win against most teams in the NBA.

Of course, Towns and company will hope to get things turned around sooner rather than later, as they've now lost four of their last five.

After the showdown against the Magic, the T'Wolves will hit the road once again to take on the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday night.

Minnesota will then take on the Los Angeles Clippers and Houston Rockets next week before the All-Star break.
