Almost nothing went right for the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 2 against the Memphis Grizzlies. After stealing the first game of the NBA playoffs series from the Western Conference's second seed, the Wolves lost by 28 points. While Ja Morant shined, Karl-Anthony Towns had a forgettable performance.

Anthony Edwards was the only Timberwolves player who came even somewhat ready to go. His 20 points on 7-16 shooting lead the team while Towns got into early foul trouble and scored just 15 points on 4-7 shooting in 28 minutes. Minnesota's All-Star didn't sugarcoat the performance of himself or his team after the game. He simply said they have to be locked in more.

The Grizzlies set a franchise record in the margin of victory in an NBA playoff game in Game 2. Even after the brutal loss, Towns isn't too shaken. The series will be heading to Minnesota now and Towns knows that the games ahead can help the Wolves put Game 2 behind them.

The Timberwolves showed that they belonged in the first game of the series. They went after the upstart Grizzlies and should be able to do so again in front of their home crowd. Edwards, bad shots and all, never loses his edge. He is always going full steam ahead in order to win. His veteran teammate should take note.

Towns has to avoid foul trouble and maintain his aggressiveness on offense in order to power a Timberwolves win. He has to look to get his shots and make the Grizzlies' defense worried. The 26-year-old can score from anywhere and make the right passes. It's up to him to find the mindset that will put the Wolves ahead again.
