Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Malik Beasley's wife, Montana Yao, has taken to Instagram after her husband was caught hanging out and holding hands with Larsa Pippen, the ex-wife of Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen.
Beasley, who recently re-signed with the Timberwolves as a restricted free agent, has a child with Yao. TMZ is reporting that Yao was “blindsided” when she saw the pictures of Beasley and Pippen together.
Yao posted four Instagram Stories for her followers after the Timberwolves swingman was caught cheating on her.
The Timberwolves re-signed Malik Beasley to a four-year deal worth $60 million. The forward averaged 20.7 points in 14 games with the Timberwolves before the 2019-20 season was suspended in March due to COVID-19. Beasley began the 2019-20 campaign with the Denver Nuggets.
Beasley is being charged with fifth-degree drug possession and threats of violence. Now, he's in the news again for allegedly cheating on his wife. It has certainly been a noteworthy offseason for Beasley.
The Timberwolves, who have only made the postseason once since 2004, are hoping that Karl-Anthony Towns, D'Angelo Russell, rookie Anthony Edwards and Beasley can bring the franchise back to prominence in the rugged Western Conference.
It remains to be seen, though, how this incident with Larsa Pippen and Montana Yao unfolds for Beasley.
