In what seems to be a running theme in their playoff run, the Minnesota Timberwolves' game against the Memphis Grizzlies was halted by protestors again. This team, a person sitting behind owner Glen Taylor stormed the court again, with her companion seemingly filming the incident. (via ClutchPoints)

The protester was quickly tackled and taken off the floor. This has been a common occurrence in the Timberwolves' playoff run (and even during the Play-In Tournament). Compared to those incidents (which involved a chain to the stanchion and a superglued hand to the floor), this one is a lot milder.

These protests are aimed at Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor… but not for his basketball-related actions. The activists are protesting one of Taylor's chicken farms killing off their population due to a bird flu situation. According to them, Taylor's method was inhumane and wrong, much to the chagrin of basketball fans.

There's a silver lining to this situation for Timberwolves fans. Historically speaking, the Wolves are 2-0 when a protester does an incident on the court. After their brutal loss two days ago, this type of good (?) omen is exactly what this team needs. We'll see if they can keep this streak alive for now.
