We don't usually see a raise-the-roof celebration nowadays, but Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns decided to unleash the vaunted taunt right after posterizing Oklahoma City Thunder's Jerami Grant.

After spiking one down over Grant, Towns couldn't control himself and raised the roof to the delight of the home crowd.

Besides, the Timberwolves were up by a pretty hefty margin at that point. It wouldn't hurt if Karl-Anthony Towns released some adrenaline by way of a celebration.

They ended up manhandling the Thunder, 131-120. Towns himself had a monster double-double, finishing with 41 points and 14 rebounds. Derrick Rose chipped in 19 points in 20 minutes of action. Jeff Teague also clocked in a double-double with 16 points and 12 assists, while Andrew Wiggins scored 18 points.

The Thunder, meanwhile, got big contributions from their players. But they all fell short as the Timberwolves proved too tough to handle. Russell Westbrook had 38 points and 13 rebounds while Paul George ended with 25 markers.

It was a great upset by the Timberwolves who are currently 11th place in the Western Conference. It will be tough for them to qualify for the eighth and final playoff spot. But the win over a top-tier team could create some sort of momentum. They'll head to Michigan on Wednesday to take on the Detroit Pistons.
