The Tennessee Titans opened their offseason program on Monday, but one face who was noticeably absent was wide receiver AJ Brown.

Brown is still reportedly looking for a more lucrative extension with the Titans, as he is entering the final year of his rookie contract. The team would want him to return, as he's been one of the most dependable players on the roster since being drafted in the second round in 2019.

But while discussions are still presumably ongoing, the 24-year-old Brown made a curious move on Twitter, deleting “Tennessee” from his profile description, as reported by NFL reporter Ari Meirov.

Did he just hint at leaving the Titans?

This comes after Brown posted a cryptic tweet addressing negative remarks thrown at him.

It's hard not to make theories after Brown's latest move. He knows he's worth a big contract, as he has tallied 185 catches for 2,995 receiving yards and 24 receiving touchdowns in his three seasons with the Titans. The Pro Bowl WR must be monitoring the deals of fellow wide receivers Davante Adams and Tyreek Hill as well, who both got the bag with the Las Vegas Raiders and the Miami Dolphins, respectively.

Titans coach Mike Vrabel has already said he doesn't want to see Brown walk away. But with the team's offseason program already running and no new deal in place yet, Vrabel must be feeling the urgency to re-sign one of their stalwarts.
