The Tennessee Titans aren't making the playoffs but they did spoil it for the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Derrick Henry turned back the clock and dominated Jacksonville, as he tends to do. However, there's a chance this was his final game in Tennessee. Amid the ongoing rumors, the superstar running back delivered a heartfelt message to fans immediately after the win.

Derrick Henry grabbed a microphone and spoke to Titans fans attending the game live. It was awesome to see, especially considering how warm of a welcome the fanbase gave him during the player intros. If this truly was his final game playing for Tennessee, he clearly loved his time playing for this franchise.

What an absolute legend. If this is truly the end of Derrick Henry's tenure with the Titans, then he'll go down as one of the best players in franchise history. The future Hall of Famer's career numbers are insane, as he's recorded 9,502 rushing yards and 93 total touchdowns.

On top of that, Henry surpassed Earl Campbell's franchise record (40)of most 100+ rushing yard games in a career after he rushed for 157 yards on the Jaguars in Week 18. Derrick Henry is a true legend of the sport and deserves any and all praise from Titans fans.

Shortly after the win, head coach Mike Vrabel even mentioned how proud he is to have coached Henry over the years, according to team reporter Jim Wyatt.

“Titans HC Mike Vrabel: Proud to coach Derrick Henry, an unbelievable player and leader.”

The Titans officially begin their offseason and there are numerous big decisions to make. Maybe there is some mutual interest in Derrick Henry returning if the contract makes sense. But we'll have to see how it all plays out.
