Back in late March, Tennessee Titans star safety Kevin Byard and Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders both got into it on Twitter. Byard, who asked why he wasn't considered to be one of his top safeties in the NFL, got dismissed as just another ordinary “fan” by Sanders.

That's pretty cold, Deion. At least give Kevin some of the respect that he has rightfully earned.

“I asked him a simple question of how he came up with the information on the best safety. He threw me aside like I was a nobody,” Byard said. “It just puts a bigger chip on my shoulder. I come from a situation where I've been ignored my whole life. Being a two-star prospect, having maybe five offers coming out, broke every school record at my school, and I was still talked about being a Day 3 or undrafted guy. In two years, I'm an All-Pro and Pro Bowler.”

However, Byard definitely used what Sanders said about him and decided to put the phrase “Just A Fan” on one of his t-shirts while unboxing the new Titans' uniforms this week.

“I think everybody is hyped. I've seen the jerseys, so I know what they look like. I think all the fans are going to be super excited,” Byard said. “April 4th, you should come out and see them. It's going to be a big event. I know for our owner, that's been like her baby.”

The new Titans uniforms are indeed pretty awesome looking, as the 2018-19 gear was officially revealed to the public on Wednesday.
