The Tennessee Titans are seemingly in the midst of a lost campaign, and have turned the starting quarterback job over to rookie Will Levis after a pair of impressive starts while filling in for Ryan Tannehill. With Tannehill making his way back from an ankle injury that initially allowed Levis to take his job, it's fair to wonder whether or not he will be active for their Week 10 action.

Tannehill initially picked up his ankle injury in the Titans Week 6 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, and he hasn't taken the field since then. With Levis being named Tennessee's new starter, everyone was wondering whether Tannehill or Malik Willis would be the Titans new backup. Unfortunately, we won't truly know what the plan is for another week, as Tannehill still was not healthy enough to suit up for Tennessee in Week 10.

Given how poorly Willis played when he filled in for Tannehill back in Week 6, chances are the Titans would rather have him backing up Levis moving forward. But Tannehill is still injured, which is the initial reason why he was replaced by Levis, and he still isn't ready to even be active in the event that he were to be needed.

For now, Willis will remain Levis' backup, but the best case scenario for the Titans would be to just have Levis stay healthy and continue to gain experience running their offense. Tannehill is a good insurance policy to have in case things go wrong for the Titans, but he's still going to need some time to heal up before Tennessee decides who their backup will be.
