Many would be interested to see UFC star Amanda Nunes taking on her teammate and former PFL champ Kayla Harrison but not their training camp manager.

Aside from being both celebrated champions of their promotions, UFC and PFL respectively, Amanda Nunes and Kayla Harrison also share another thing in common–they're teammate at the ATT gym.

With Harrison still a free agent, the UFC has easily become one of her most ideal landing spot. Hence, a superfight with Nunes will follow certainly suit. However, this is not what ATT gym owner Dan Lambert has in mind.

Sharing his bold thoughts on the subject, Lambert explained that it's never good when their own fighters take on each other “especially in such a high-stakes fight” like Nunes vs. Harrison.

“I’d do everything I could to avoid it,” Lambert said via MMA News. “I don’t like when our people fight. Usually, when you go into a fight you’ve got at least a 50-50 of leaving happy or sad. Put two of our people against each other, especially in such a high-stakes fight, you’ve got a 100 percent chance of leaving feeling pretty bad for somebody.”

However, Lambert is also well aware that “sometimes” things just happen in this sport.

“But hey, sometimes s**t happens,” he continued. “If it were to happen, we’d separate the training, pick out training partners and coaches that would help each and may the best man or woman win.”

Harrison has recently admitted that if ever the UFC decides to give the potential Nunes fight a nod, nothing will change as they both know “it's just business.”
