Jorge Masvidal was recently arrested and slapped with two felony charges after attacking Colby Covington outside of a Miami restaurant just weeks after their fight in the Octagon. UFC president Dana White has now broken his silence on the matter and while he doesn't agree with what Masvidal did, he believes Covington should've seen it coming after he talked about Jorge's family.

Via TMZ Sports:

“Obviously, I don't condone guys getting into fights in the street and I hate everything about it,” the UFC boss said.

“But again, this is a business where I'm gonna fight you and there's a certain level of what I believe is man code where you don't talk about people's families, you don't talk bout the kids and you don't talk bout their wives.”

“Especially with a guy like Jorge Masvidal. If you do that to Jorge Masvidal, you better watch yourself when you're coming out of restaurants.”

White has a point. The UFC is a vicious sport no doubt, but saying hurtful things about kids and wives is a no-no. Especially when you're dealing with Masvidal, who literally came from street fighting. This man is hard as nails.

Jorge has pleaded not guilty to the charges and will appear in court again later this month. He broke Covington's tooth with one of his punches. White meanwhile, didn't rule out a Masvidal vs Covington 2. Given this UFC rivalry, it wouldn't be a surprise to see it happen in the future.
