UFC president Dana White is not a man known for holding his tongue. He recently was asked about the rumors of a boxing match between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou after the two talked about it publicly.

Dana White was recently on The Pat McAfee Show where he talked about the boxing match between Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury. It's safe to say the UFC president did not hold back.

“That fight’s definitely not a lock,” White said, later adding, “Listen, they’ve been talking about it. Fury is the best boxer, one of the greatest boxers of all time. You look at the guys that he’s beaten and how easily he’s beating them. I don’t know. We’ll see how this thing plays out. I don’t love the crossover fights. I don’t love them.”

Pat McAfee then asked Dana White why he wasn't interested in making a fight between the UFC champion and boxing champion. The answer was very simple and very honest from the man in charge.

“Because they’re fucking stupid,” White said when asked why he’s not interested in Ngannou vs. Fury. “Fucking waste of time, energy, and money. I don’t know, it’s silly, but I get it. Everybody wants to try to—I don’t know. I don’t even know.”

Dana White concluded by pointing out the problem in the matchup for Francis Ngannou. He pointed out the way he won his last UFC fight back in January.

“Boxing is a massive advantage for Tyson Fury,” White said. “Boxing. Ngannou just wrestled Ciryl Gane.”
