Brandon Moreno was asked at the UFC 270 pre-fight press conference about his mentality and how he flips the switch heading into fights. The former champion is known for being happy outside of the cage and a savage in it.

The former UFC champion has a genuine personality and many fans tend to gravitate towards that. Brandon Moreno wants to be real both inside and outside of the cage.

Brandon Moreno was recently on The MMA Hour where he explained the shift in mentality during his fights. He felt the love from the crowd at UFC 270.

“When I walked to the octagon and started to watch all the Mexican flags, all the people, like, ‘Man, what happened with this energy? This is crazy,’” Moreno said of the UFC 270 crowd. “That’s why I feel so locked in at some points because I never tried to do this in my life.

“I’m just trying to be real in my normal life, just trying to enjoy the journey with all the obstacles and all the good things and I never needed to do some trash talk or be a bad guy with somebody, put some drama in my life. That’s why I love this because the people can recognize who I am and they love that and that’s amazing.”

It's not clear what the future looks like for Brandon Moreno after losing his title at UFC 270. Many are hoping for a fourth fight while others expect him to take a few fights before trying to regain the title again,
