Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington clearly have beef heading into UFC 272. The two used to be friends but that all came to an end after an issue regarding paying coaches.

There are some that are still skeptical about whether or not the two actually don't like each other. Colby Covington was caught telling Kamaru Usman it was all for show at UFC 268 in November, fans have been skeptical ever since.

Jorge Masvidal was asked if he would shake Colby Covington's after their fight at UFC 272. It's clear ‘Gamebred' has no positive thoughts about Colby Covington and the two will never be friends again.

“He knows me through and through. He would never dare do that. He wouldn’t get close to me in any circumference or anything like that,” Masvidal told reporters including MMAFighting at the UFC 272 media day.

“He wouldn’t put himself at a chance where I could end his ass again. Especially ‘cause he’s talked about my kids. My kids don’t do a pay-per-view sale. People ain’t going, like ‘Oh, he’s talking about his kids, I’m really gonna tune in now.’

“He talked about Usman’s dad, I don’t know how many times, Usman’s mom,” the UFC welterweight continued. “And then you’re gonna say ’It’s just business, I’m selling pay-per-views, I love you bro.’ When he had said for months, ‘I’ll never shake this guy’s hand.’

“That shows how much of a coward he is. What a snake he is. He’ll say whatever and whenever. And then when the light’s on him, when it’s time to be a man about it, he does what he does. I can’t respect him in any way, shape or form.”

UFC 272 takes place on March 5 and features a very strong main event with Jorge Masvidal taking on Colby Covington. The two are one of the rare non-title fights to headline a pay-per-view.
