Justin Gaethje and Daniel Cormier are going to continue going back and forth until Justin Gaethje gets his UFC lightweight title shot it appears. Gaethje isn't messing around with the subject of getting a title shot.
Justin Gaethje recently spoke with MMAFighting about Daniel Cormier and his desire to get a title shot. He also took the opportunity to fire a few more shots at ‘DC.'
“It’s got me in trouble many times in my life but I consider myself a straight shooter,” Gaethje said. “When I see something, I speak to it. When I saw that happen that night, I said what I thought and I was unhappy.
“If DC was in my shoes and someone was trying to pass him up, take money off his table, take food away from his family, he would have said the same thing.”
It's not really a feud between both fighters as there is obviously respect between the two UFC men. Justin Gaethje just disagrees with Daniel Cormier wanting Islam Makhachev to get the next title shot.

Justin Gaethje does have a plan for Islam Makhachev should he become UFC champion. He'd allow the Russian grappler to be his first title defense.
“I’ll let him go first if he gets his spot,” Gaethje said about offering Makhachev the first shot at the title if he becomes champion. “I’ll beat one of these guys [Charles Oliveira or Dustin Poirier] and then I’ll allow him to go first. Fuck yeah, I’m looking forward to that.”
Justin Gaethje has made it crystal clear that he wants the next title shot after UFC 269. It's tough to deny him that opportunity after the run he has been on.
