Luke Rockhold is set to face Paulo Costa at UFC 278 and so far there has been plenty of trash-talking between the two as the fight draws closer. Sean Strickland was originally supposed to face Rockhold but the fight was eventually cancelled.

Luke Rockhold was recently on The DC Check-In where he talked about the UFC 278 fight against the Brazilian. He did not hold back on Paulo Costa and the matchup.

“He’s looking for a way out at times,” Rockhold said, when asked if Costa had a weakness. “He’s not 100% in and that’s a dangerous place to be. I’ve been there, not 100% in.

“I don’t like him. First of all, I don’t like Paulo Costa. Any decent man in the world [doesn’t like him]. You look at the guy and you hear the guy and you’re like ‘fuck”.

The conversation eventually shifted over to Sean Strickland and Luke Rockhold made quite the bonkers claim about him. He claims the UFC middleweight is a terrible person and supports bad people.

“He’s on the different side of Sean Strickland,” Rockhold continued. “Two both just horrible human beings. [Strickland] is out there supporting pedophiles. The guy needs to be written off.”

Sean Strickland currently has a fight booked against Alex Pereira that could help determine the next UFC title contender. Luke Rockhold expects Strickland to get things done despite their history.

“I think [Sean] wins. Sean can wrestle a little bit, he’ll probably just take him down. Pereira just sucks. I think he’s horrible at every other thing other than striking.”
