Paddy Pimblett has been a hyped prospect since entering the UFC in 2021. Now it looks like he is being fast-tracked as his next fight seems to be against fan-favorite long-time veteran, Donald Cerrone.
Paddy Pimblett was recently on Michael Bisping's Believe You Me Podcast and gave an update on his next UFC fight. He wants to fight back home in England.

“That’s happening. I’m gonna take someone’s head off again in the O2. I’ll announce myself once again.”
The fight with Donald Cerrone appears to be just a rumor. The UFC lightweight even knows the origin of that fight rumor.
“It’s going around everywhere, but there’s no truth to it,” UFC lightweight Pimblett said. “Nothing on my end. Do you really think that the UFC are gonna put me on a card on the 5th of March in Vegas when they’re doing London on the 19th?
“It doesn’t make sense. I think that was just Chael [Sonnen] having a little go for some clickbait or something. It started with Chael.”
It appears like the much-anticipated fight between Paddy Pimblett and Donald Cerrone will not be happening at all. It will be interesting to see what direction the UFC goes with booking both men in the future.
