Paddy Pimblett was a star in MMA even before he entered the UFC. Now that he's in the biggest MMA organization in the world, his stock has only risen.

The UFC lightweight has plenty of options in front of him for his next fight. Paddy Pimblett spoke about it on Michael Bisping's Believe You Me podcast.

“The UFC hasn’t come at me with any opponents,” Pimblett said. “After he mentioned me, I thought me and Jared Gordon might get matched together. But as I say, I’ve got no idea, we’ll see what happens.

“I haven’t even had potential opponents sent over to me yet. I thought I’d have one by now.”

Jared Gordon has called out Paddy Pimblett before and it seems like the UFC lightweight has a good chance of getting the fight. The two have gone back and forth on social media often.

“Because he mentioned me in his post-fight interview and he beat my former teammate, I would like to fight Jared Gordon,” Pimblett said. “He beat [Chris Fishgold] so obviously I would like to beat him and he’s on a three fight win streak. His last loss was to [Charles] Oliveira.”

Paddy Pimbeltt has plenty of fun options in the UFC but it seems like Jared Gordon is the one that makes the most sense currently. The two would be looking to make a name for themselves by beating the other. Only time will tell if the UFC is interested in making this fight next for the two men.
