Frankie Edgar has reached a point in his career where there are many questions about his retirement and his fighting future. The UFC bantamweight has suffered some bad losses and reached the point where he might be ready to call it.

The last time Frankie Edgar competed was at UFC 268 in November against Marlon Vera. Edgar was doing well until he was caught with a huge front kick in the third round that saw the fight stopped almost immediately.

Before that, Frankie Edgar suffered a knockout loss to Cory Sandhagen by flying knee. The UFC veteran has been competing at bantamweight in an attempt to fight for the title in a new weight class.

Frankie Edgar recently spoke to some reporters about his future in the UFC and in the sport itself. The New Jersey native has yet to make a decision and is looking at his possible options going forward.

“I don’t know, we’ll see,” Edgar told MMA Junkie Radio. “I’m still seeing what’s next. No decisions on anything right now.”

He continued, “I’m doing the goals that I want to do. I’ve accomplished a lot in this game. I’m just being myself and finishing this out. We’ll see how we finish this out. Still a lot of undecided stuff.”

There is no doubt that Frankie Edgar will be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame once he officially decides to retire. He was the lightweight champion and became a top contender in two other weight classes as well to round out a great career.
