Conor McGregor has hit out at the UFC for highlighting his recent defeat to Dustin Poirier in a promotional video.
Despite being out of action due to a major injury, nothing could stop UFC superstar Conor McGregor from expressing his thoughts on certain matters, particularly involving his most recent opponent Dustin Poirier.
The former two-division UFC champ has been quite active on social media while in recovery. Poirier, on the other hand, is set for another huge fight against fellow top lightweight contender Charles Oliveira at UFC 269.
Things seemed to have laid low a bit between the two bitter UFC rivals until the famed MMA promotion released the promotional video for Poirier's upcoming fight. In it, McGregor's horrible leg injury at UFC 264 was shown, evidently to emphasize “The Diamond's” win.
As expected, “The Notorious” was not pleased with what he just saw and took to Twitter his disapproval.

McGregor went on to reiterate that even to this day, he is certain that Poirier did nothing on him during their last meeting, stressing that they still are one win apiece against each other.
“Garbage! It’s one a piece and any push other wise is for the bin,” the Irish fighter exclaimed. “Stick me in this promo in the back ground as a dark, rich, evil shadow. Boost the pay-per-views.”
As it stands, McGregor is still not cleared to fight but has already been hitting the gym.
