The wives, girlfriends, and groupies of NBA players are just as known — and, in some cases, better known — than the players themselves, whether for the right, or wrong, reasons.

But today, we're not going to talk about the basketball partnerships that are well-known. Instead, let's take a moment on this Valentine's Day to celebrate some of the lesser-known NBA couples in the league. Talk about love and basketball!

10. Victor Oladipo And Bria Myles

Here's one of these NBA couples that are surprising, but shouldn't be. Oladipo is a shooting guard for the Indiana Pacers, and this year, he was named an Eastern Conference reserve for the second straight year. Bria Myles, on the other hand, is best known for being a “video vixen” for the likes of Kanye West. She's also Drake's ex-girlfriend. And she's made heads turn because of the so-called “junk in the trunk” that she has.

9. Phil Jackson and Jeanie Buss

This NBA couple gives a whole new meaning to the term “power couple.” Jackson is one of the best coaches in NBA history, and Buss is the co-owner of the Los Angeles Lakers. They've been together since 1999 when he was still coaching the Lakers and she was the executive VP of Business Operations. This level of power links the teams from the two largest cities in the United States in ways that make the league, unquestionably, both nervous and excited.

8. Kamiah Adams and Bradley Beal

It's amazing that these two are amongst the lesser-known NBA couples, especially since Kamiah is a recurring star on the VH1 paragon of ratchetry, Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood. But the actress and businesswoman has not only been dating the Washington Wizards shooting guard, they have a young son — Deuce — together.

7. Kendall Jenner & Blake Griffin

Unlike her sisters, Kendall Jenner tends to keep her private life private, and prefers that people focus on her actual career as opposed to her love life. That's why it's a bit surprising that the supermodel and her baller boo have made this list of little-known NBA couples. For what it's worth, they're cute together, when they're actually snapped together. And he's not even her first baller boo!

6. Shaq and Hoopz

Remember the good old days when Flavor of Love was all the rage on VH1? Well, Nicole Alexander — better known as Hoopz — was the winner of the first season of the show, beating out Tiffany “New York” Pollard for Flavor Flav's affections. But when things with the rapper fell apart, Hoopz took up with a guy that was better known for shooting hoops (sorry!): Shaquille O'Neal. He was her rebound relationship, as they got together in 2010 after he'd filed for divorce. Ultimately, they didn't last, and broke up just two years later.

J.J. Barea, Mavs

5. Viviana Ortiz and JJ Barea

This happens to be one of our favorite NBA couples, even though they're a little more low-key than most. JJ Barea has been a long-time point guard for the Dallas Mavericks, and Viviana Ortiz is best known for being Miss Puerto Rico and placing in the Top 16 during the 2011 Miss Universe competition. The couple have been together for a long time, but only got married in 2016. They have a daughter, Paulina, together.

4. Ray Allen and Shannon Walker Williams

Shannon Walker Williams was a member of the short-lived R'n'B girl group, Shades. Today, she's focused on philanthropy, film, and television projects while tending to her family with retired Miami Heat player, Ray Allen. The couple, who have been married since 2008, have four children together.

Baron Davis

3. Isabella Brewster and Baron Davis

Unlike most of the NBA couples on this list, Isabella Brewster is one of the few women who are even more powerful than her baller boo. Brewster is a high-profile Hollywood agent who is employed by the Creative Artists Agency. As a result of her position in Tinsel Town, she's dated some of the most high-profile actors in show business, including Russell Brand and Bradley Cooper. However, she married Baron Davis in 2014, and stayed married to him until 2017. The former couple have two children together.

2. Nick Young and Iggy Azalea

Iggy Azalea is a rapper that people love to hate — and sometimes, not for the wrong reasons. That said, she was able to keep her relationship with Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard, Nick Young, under wraps for a long time. Then, in 2015, the couple announced their surprise engagement — and things took an immediate turn for the worst. One of Young's teammates released a video of Young in the locker room, bragging about his ability to cheat on Azalea without repercussion. And, just as quickly as their engagement was announced, it was called off, and their relationship ended as well.

Kris Humphries

1. Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries

Nowadays, Kim Kardashian is almost exclusively known for her latest ratchetry with husband Kanye West, but before “KimYe” was a thing, she was known for being part of one of the most infamous NBA couples in history. It's amazing to think that this pairing is now long forgotten — but when you consider that the now-retired ball player and the reality star got married in a two-part special that drew in record-breaking ratings for the network, only to get divorced a few months later, their relationship's failure is even more remarkable.
